Playgroups

We offer twice daily group hikes in safe, dog-friendly locations. Whether your dog is an early riser or an afternoon romper, we have an adventure waiting for him. We’ll pick your pup up, whisk him off for hiking adventure and bring him back, tuckered out, clean and well-exercised. Our hikes are at least an hour and a half of moving, off leash time.

The groups go to local parks where they are allowed to run, swim and play off- leash. We provide healthy treats, tennis balls and a good toweling off at the end of the trip. All dogs are evaluated before receiving off-leash privileges and must prove to have good recall before joining their friends. Groups consist of approximately 5-8 dogs each.

Dogs may participate in half-day or full-day excursions. Half-day excursions last approximately 3-4 hours (pick-up and drop-off included). Full-day excursions are approximately 6 – 7 hours – this includes both a morning and afternoon outing as well as rest time in the middle. Travel time is included in these estimates and actual timing will vary depending on how close or far you live from the park.

Single session (AM or PM) $40 for 1 dog, $65 for 2 dogs
Double Session (both AM and PM) $65 for 1 dog, $95 for 2 dogs

"Pre-School" puppy visits (SUSPENDED Due to COVID)

We recognize that not all dogs are immediately ready for off leash group adventures. This is an attractive option for owners of puppies who are still too young (or not yet fixed) to join us off-leash. It provides us with an opportunity to get to know them and build our relationship before they start coming to playgroup.  It’s can also be a good option for older dogs who don’t have a lot of socialization.  We can evaluate whether they will be a good candidate for the playgroups while getting them out for a little exercise.  The main idea behind the “pre-school” walks is to prep the dogs for joining the off leash playgroups.

Each walk/visit lasts approximately 20 minutes.  During this time your pup will get to tour the neighborhood and take care of “business”. We go out rain or shine, hot or cold!  If requested, you’ll receive a text or note after each visit so you know how your dog did while you were at work.
